10 years of partnership with Nokia

Our newest Internet Exchange in Helsinki is ready for service. In parallel to celebrating the launch, we also celebrated 10 years of partnership with Nokia. 

DE-CIX’s and Nokia’s long-standing relationship, based on joint research and development efforts and standardization initiatives, allows us to offer highly reliable, low-latency and seamless interconnection services for customers. Nokia provides the most innovative hardware – such as the newly developed FP5 network processor, designed to support 800 Gigabit Ethernet. This technology can be found in the latest Nokia 7750 SR-14s models, which we use at DE-CIX Frankfurt.

DE-CIX Helsinki is ready for service

DE-CIX Helsinki will act as a digital hub for regional connectivity, enabling local networks low-latency interconnection and localization of global content, while increasing network stability, scalability, and security. Customers in Finland can now benefit from direct access to over 50 clouds, hundreds of networks and data centers in Europe and beyond.

In addition to Helsinki, the DE-CIX Nordics ecosystem has locations in Oslo and Kristiansand in Norway, and another two are coming soon in Denmark.
