Peering in Malaysia's capital

DE-CIX's peering services in Kuala Lumpur

DE-CIX will soon offer a distributed platform in Kuala Lumpur for all kinds of networks to exchange data. Our award-winning DE-CIX Apollon platform will allow for the provisioning of multiple interconnection services like peering with the GlobePEER service, or the direct connection to multiple cloud service providers with the DirectCLOUD service.

DE-CIX will also introduce a shared interconnection platform where participants of both the Kuala Lumpur exchange and the Johor Bahru exchange will be able to interconnect.

A region with 7 million people

Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia’s capital city, and by far the biggest city in Malaysia with a population of 1.7 million. It is the center of the Greater Kuala Lumpur region with a population of more than 7 million. Expectations are on the rise when it comes to high quality services such as streaming video, and networks are eager to serve these growing needs. DE-CIX's interconnection platform right in the middle of this growing region will meet the demand for high-quality interconnection, and help the region to grow further.
