Private connectivity to Oracle Cloud Infrastucture

DE-CIX is an Oracle FastConnect partner. We offer private, secure connectivity to the Oracle Cloud Infrastucture (OCI) – including Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud, allowing you to place sensitive data and applications in the cloud in alignment with EU data privacy and sovereignty requirements.

DE-CIX DirectCLOUD allows you to connect your existing network infrastructure with the Oracle cloud, bypassing the Internet. The benefits of connecting via the DirectCLOUD service include predictable latency, better control of data paths, and guaranteed bandwidth.

No presence required at a FastConnect colocation

If you are not present in one of the colocation facilities where Oracle has presence, the ecosystem of DE-CIX DirectCLOUD-certified ISPs and data center partners helps to make FastConnect circuits available wherever needed – including at on-premise enterprise locations and in private data centers.

How it works

There are two ways to set-up the connectivity between enterprises and the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Regardless of which set-up you use, DE-CIX and our partners guarantee to provide high availability by avoiding any single points of failure.

Directly through DE-CIX at our premium enabled sites

If you are collocated in a data center where DE-CIX also has presence – our premium enabled sites – you just need to buy access to DE-CIX and you can directly use DirectCLOUD to connect to the Oracle cloud. This option usually makes sense if you have very high bandwidth requirements.

Through DE-CIX certified partners

You can also connect via our partners. The DE-CIX certified ISP or data center partners act as a single point of contact for enterprises and provide (last mile) connectivity between your on-premise location and the closest DE-CIX premium enabled site, and from there on to the Oracle cloud.
