Partnership with Adam expands cloud connectivity offering in Spain

We have partnered with Adam to offer our DirectCLOUD service and Microsoft Azure Peering Service in Spain. Through DirectCLOUD, Adam’s customers can gain access to the DE-CIX Cloud Exchange and connect to cloud services providers such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and IBM. Adam is also the first DE-CIX partner to offer the Microsoft Azure Peering Service – a direct interconnection service to Microsoft SaaS offerings, such as Microsoft 365.

Optimal cloud connectivity for enterprises

The DirectCLOUD service will be available at Adam’s new data center facility in Madrid, opening in May 2021, as well as their existing facilities in Barcelona. With its customers comprising of medium-sized enterprise businesses, Adam is perfectly suited to offer optimal cloud connectivity to its current customers in its data centers.

DE-CIX Madrid is celebrating its fifth birthday this year. DE-CIX Barcelona, which was announced late last year, is our latest Internet Exchange in Europe. Together with the other Southern European exchanges in Lisbon, Marseille, and Palermo, it is the leading data center and carrier neutral interconnection ecosystem in the region.
