We are excited to announce that we have established strategic partnerships to build connectivity bridges to and within Africa. As part of the DE-CIX as a service program, we will build three interconnection platforms which will be ready for service by the end of 2022.
The platforms will be built in Lagos, Nigeria, Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Tripoli in Libya. With these platforms, next-generation interconnection services including cloud connectivity will not only be delivered to the respective markets but extended to a total of nine African countries by using existing infrastructure in the region.
We are planning to open more locations in various regions of the African continent in 2022 and beyond.
